Two new local HMIs were implemented to control the Genil River pumps, which supply water to the Palma del Río 1 and 2 solar thermal plants.
Until then, the pumps could only be controlled using a local keypad or from an HMI located on the upper floor.
With the work carried out, in addition to providing each pump with its own local HMI, the possibility of operating these pumps from the DCS system was integrated, thus improving the flexibility and centralised control of the installation.
