ROBOTS PTFRC

Location: Getafe (Madrid)

The project was developed in two robotic cells:

  • One for the assembly and measurement of tools for the A350.
  • Another for the preparation of grippers for the assembly of the A350 fuselage.

For each cell, the various control modules were programmed in a Siemens PLC, including database management using the ODK 1500S driver.
The work included the coding and validation of the modules in TIA Portal, as well as the modification of programmes in Fanuc robots, one of which incorporated a vision package to improve assembly processes.
