The modified control system developed by MIESA was commissioned at the MAXAM emulsion plant (El Garrobo), developed in TIA Portal V14. The work included reviewing the modifications, validating them on site, and installing an MB Dial-Up modem to enable remote connection and technical support.
Subsequently, functional improvements were implemented, such as the preservation of setpoints after restarting the PLC and the recording of recipes, data, and alarms on an HMI USB stick, in addition to performing corrective assistance, increasing the reliability and traceability of the system.
