SBR aeration management was implemented in the PLC control logic and in the HMI. Until then, the system operated solely on a Ton-Toff cycle, already featuring an integrated redox probe displayed on the HMI.
With the modification, the operator now had two operating modes available: maintaining control by Ton-Toff or regulating aeration based on a redox setpoint.
